Image Uploads for CV and Cover Letter (28th of July)
Purpose and scope
To give applicants and candidates more flexibility when applying, we are adding support for uploading image files as a CV or cover letter, in addition to existing document formats.
Key Improvements & New Features
Broader Upload Support: Image files (such as JPEG) can now be uploaded as a CV or cover letter from the front office application form, the career center profile, application management, and manually adding a candidate.
Configurable File Types: Only the image formats enabled in your file type configuration can be uploaded — for example, if JPEG is allowed but JPG is not, only JPEG files can be uploaded.
Automatic PDF Conversion: Any image file uploaded as a CV or cover letter is automatically converted to PDF, so downstream processes continue to work as expected.
Note: CV parsing for image-based files is not included at this stage and may be introduced separately in the future.
Vacancy Ad Included in HR Core Transfer (1st of July)
Purpose and scope
To reduce manual work when hiring, we are adding the option to include the vacancy ad when transferring a new hire to your HR core system.
Key Improvements & New Features
Include Vacancy Ad Checkbox: A new “Include vacancy ad” checkbox is available on the hire form, alongside the existing option to transfer CV and cover letter.
Automatic PDF Generation: When selected, the vacancy ad is included in the transfer as a PDF, generated automatically from the published ad.
Always Up to Date: If the vacancy is edited and republished, the PDF is regenerated so the transferred ad always reflects the latest version.
Note: Available now for Youforce and Visma Denmark HR core integrations. The vacancy must be published before this option appears.
Vacancy Ad as Email Attachment (2nd of June)
Purpose and scope
To make it easier to share job ads directly with applicants and colleagues, vacancy ads can now be attached to emails sent from EasyCruit.
Key Improvements & New Features
Attach Vacancy Ad: Users can choose to attach the vacancy ad, as a PDF, to emails sent from EasyCruit, including email templates.
Always Up to Date: If the vacancy is edited and republished, the attached PDF is regenerated automatically so the latest version is always sent.
Note: This option becomes available once the vacancy has been published for the first time. It will remain available even if the vacancy is later unpublished or expires.
Custom Archiving Rule for Applicant Lists (30th of July)
Purpose and scope
To give clients more control over data retention, we are adding a configurable rule for when applicant lists are archived in FIKS archive settings.
Key Improvements & New Features
Configurable Archiving Delay: Clients will be able to choose any number of days, starting from 0, counted from the last publication date, as the earliest point at which an applicant list can be archived.
Tenant-Level Configuration: The archiving delay is configured per tenant, giving each organization control over its own archiving schedule.
Bugs and small fixes
Our certificate for the FIKS archive integration expired during July, which has affected archiving for clients using this integration. The certificate has now been renewed, and FIKS archiving is working as expected again. We have also archived everything that should have been archived during this period.
